I know the buddy finder here is a big part of this forum, but I believe there could be some wedgie lovers in my town that aren't aware of it, so I thought of maybe trying dating apps, but I'm unsure if it's a good/safe option.

In my experience, it's a mixed bag. I've had occasional amazing meetups, tons of flakes, and more than one bait and switch. That might simply be a matter of location, but in the four years I've tried them, Grindr, Recon, Spankz, etc. have repeatedly failed me.
