i think it is a mix of onlyfans and creepy guys using the anonymity of the internet to message girls whatever they feel like. From the early 2000's to 2010, there was a very vibrant and active community of both male and female. As the internet grew so did the amount of people able to interact with the community and the nasty messages. I want to say women are scared of what the see when I know they just look around and know better. It's a cesspool when you think about it, why would anyone wanna join? Hopefully it can go back to the old days but I doubt that day is anywhere closer than it was yesterday
